What do I do if I need Veterinary attention for my pet and you are closed? Rest assured that you are never without a Vet if you need one. If you require a Vet and we are closed, you can call the Small Animal Specialist Hospital on 02 98890289 at ANY time of the day or night. The Small Animal Specialist Hospital have hospitals in North Ryde and Alexandria. There is also a 24 hour facility available in Annandale called Medipaws. Their address is 231/233 Catherine St, Leichhardt NSW 2040 and they can be contacted on 1800 678 387 24 hours a day
What animals do you see at your hospital? We primarily see dogs and cats. We do not routinely see other species of animals at our hospital. If you require a Vet for another species of animal (rabbit/bird/reptile etc), we would recommend you call North Shore Veterinary Hospital or Small Animal Specialist Hospital.
Is your hospital open 24 hours a day? No. We are a day hospital. If any of our patients require overnight care, we would routinely recommend that they are taken to a 24 hr facility for ongoing treatment and assessment. We can provide further advice regarding this if required.
Does our hospital provide dedicated export services for pet’s relocating to other countries. No. We routinely recommend that all Pet Export services are handled by a dedicated Export company with their own dedicated Veterinary staff.
Does your hospital provide Rabies vaccination and other vaccinations for pet’s being exported to another country? Whilst we don’t handle the actual export Veterinary work for pets being exported to other countries, we do readily provide Rabies Vaccinations for pet’s leaving Australia to another country.
Does your hospital provide accounts for Veterinary services? No. Our hospital does not provide accounts for our Veterinary Services. However, we do offer AfterPay/VetPay and other planned payment options if you require this.
Does your hospital perform routine operations on Saturdays? No. All routine operations are performed from Monday through to Friday. We do not perform routine operations on Saturdays. We do, however, still perform emergency surgery if required on a Saturday.
Is your hospital a specialist hospital? No. We are a general practice Veterinary Hospital. We provide a wide range of medical, surgical and diagnostic imaging services. We refer any patients that require a specialised service to the Small Animal Specialist Hospital routinely.
Does your hospital have Veterinarians with higher education? Does your practice see birds and exotic species?
